Managing Partner

Mr. Bennett is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ (AIF®) and Managing Partner of c5 Wealth Management, LLC. He will complete his Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree from Indiana University this fall and he holds a BA from the University of Florida. Mr. Bennett has also completed the Advest Institute’s advanced program on portfolio analytics at Harvard University.

A native Washingtonian, Mr. Bennett has over twenty years of wealth management experience. He began his career as a Financial Analyst and Corporate Loan Officer with Citizens & Southern National Bank. He then worked as a Financial Advisor and Managing Director with two multi-national financial services firms. Prior to his affiliation with c5, he was the President and Founder of Private Wealth Advisers, LLC, an independent wealth management firm, based in Great Falls, Virginia.

Mr. Bennett is an elected member of the Washington D.C. Estate Planning Council and a member of the Financial Planning Association. He previously was on the Board of Trustees for Capital Hospice as well as the Finance Committee and Planned Giving Advisory Committee. He also was the past Chairman of the Investment Committee for Capital Hospice. Mr. Bennett is an avid supporter of The Miami Project, the world's largest comprehensive spinal cord research center.

He was recently recognized in Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine, the Journal of Accountancy and the American Bar Association Journal as Who's Who of Virginia Certified Financial Planner™ professionals. In addition, he has also been recently selected by the Consumers' Research Council of America as one of "America's Best Financial Planners". He is a current contributor to the Rydex Advisor Benchmarking Index. He is quoted often in the press, has been featured on CNNRadio.com and has contributed to various publications such as U.S. News and World Report, Boomerater.com, Advisor Today, Dow Jones News, Financial Advisor Magazine, Financial Planning Magazine, Investment News, The Washington Business Journal and The Washington Times.

Mr. Bennett resides in Great Falls, Virginia with his wife and twins. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports with his children, reading non-fiction and playing an occasional round of golf.
